P.S. we are coming closer and closer to our Album release, I believe it will be self titled. September 21 ODST Prepare to DropBungie has been around for more than a few years and they're most known for what?? If the first thing to your mind is the Halo franchise you're not alone. While Bungie had other projects out before Halo, The Halo trilogy definitely marked Bungie's name in Gaming History(If you like it or not). Being released tomorrow will be the forth installment in the Halo Universe with the release of Halo 3 ODST. It started off as an expansion and turned into it's own stand alone game. Having a campaign and a new mode called Firefight, the game promises hours of fun including on a another disc all the DLC for Halo 3 and 3 new maps as well. While the story takes place on New Mombassa the details are sketchy about the whole plot line but what is known is that the story follows a team of Orbital Drop Shock Troopers(ODST) through New Mombassa uncovering new details about what's been going on. New mode Firefight is GOW2 "Horde Mode" but done by Bungie, I've invited a friend of mine to tell you all about it, Sargent........
![]() UPDATE: Phoned Futureshop and EB Games in Granby and both are not doing a Mid Night release, they both open tomorrow at 9:30! September 15 The Beatles Rock BandReleased last week on 09/09/09(The Beatles Rock Band) and came out on every system. I picked it up last friday and have been really enjoying all of the many singles by the beatles and the visuals in the game. The Beatles and I go way back, I know i am only 23 but i can say i grew up with The Beatles music all my life because of my parents. I can't remember the first song i heard from them, but i became a big fan right away after hearing their music. The music is hard to explain but the best way to describe it is to listen to it..... I'm thinking of putting up a video review!?!? Could be lots of fun, peace and have a nice day
![]() August 10 New Music (ETBs - Lost Land)Last Thursday we went into the studio and recorded a track called "Lost Land". The title expains a lot but our verses explain even more.....ever feel lost in yourself or lost in a dream? We put a lot of effort in this track as we do for most of our tracks, giving them personality & that real Hip Hop sound.... anyways here's the link hope you enjoy.
August 05 It's a Blackout, Again! (Methodman & Redman - Blackout 2/Review) Redman & Methodman have to be the best duo to rap, their mixture of excatly 50% Red & 50% Meth and keep you entertained throughout the whole album......
The album has 18 tracks spanning from fast beats to slow trumpet beats like in "Father's Day", Production on this entire Cd is very good like in "Ms.International"! Method man has released a solo album back in 2006 and it got some really good reviews but this in my opinion soars high above that album. The combination of both highly skill MC's with Story telling and punch lines are exactly how Method and Red have always been & it seems with Blackout 2 they have just gotten better. "AYO" & "Dangerus MCees" have to be Premier beats, who did a lot of production on their first album. Another memorable mention should go to "City Lights" with Pimp C in the chorus & featuring Bun B, the beat & verses are tight and deserve a music video. I enjoyed pretty much the whole album with a exception of a couple songs, Out of all the Hip Hop CD's so far in 09 this is one of the best and makes me think why Meth & Red decided to wait so long, with the release of Blackout 1 in 1999. I hope that sales also showed Meth & Red that we really missed the duo. I give it a 4.5 out of 5 and name it "Hip Hop must Have" July 28 New Hip Hop Album : Loso's Way Fabolous released a NEW album entitled: Loso's Way released Today (July.28), featuring 16 track from Brooklyn native which includes the smash hit "Throw it in the Bag" and several other honorable mentions.
Fabolous has been on the scene since 2001 with his first LP entitled; Ghetto Fabolous which was critically acclaimed, his first album was Hip Hop gold and ensured to Hip Hop lovers that FABO was here to stay. He continued his success with Street Dreams and then with Real Talk with the hit single "Breathe". "From Nothing to Something" I believe has to be his best album with so many good songs, I find myself not skipping one of them, with tracks featuring T-Pain & Jay-Z.
After all those albums and building up his name, he is one of the best MC's in the game today, I haven't picked up Loso's Way yet but i ensure you i will have it before the weekend is here, which means i will have a album review for it as well, Peace N Hip Hop.
July 23 I'd Rather Be Golfing!Goodmorning all, the 23rd today and it is a sunny day out. So myself, Dad, Jeremy & Joey are hitting up the links in waterloo around 10:30am. Been working hard and also my album review is done, i just have to edit now. Got my hands on a solo rap song for myself, don't know why i haven't done one but this is the first.
If u're couped up today tear yourself away and get outside, you'll thank me later.
